Earthquake Relief Funds

There are more than 40 orphanages (aka "social welfare institutes" or SWIs) in the Chinese province hit by this week's earthquake. What we're hearing is that most of the children are safe, although there are still a few orphanages with an unknown status. Damage to buildings varies so some children are sleeping outside. At this time access to food, clean water, and other basic necessities is highly variable.

Our agency (CCAI) has a longstanding 501c charitable foundation called Chinese Children Charities which has established an earthquake relief fund to help orphanages purchase tents, food, diapers, medicine, clothes, and post-quake building repairs.
